Before you start

  • Your property site switched on (“Enable Personal Site”) and prices set — see “Guest guide and property site”.
  • Access to your website's editor (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or another) where you can add HTML code.
  • Your website must open with https:// — otherwise browsers don't show the form.
  1. Step 1

    Copy the code

On Properties & rooms press “Site & guest guide →” next to the property and open “Booking form on your own website”.

Choose the “Form language” and press “Copy code”. “Preview” shows the form on its own.

Copy the whole code — the frame (<iframe>) and the short script after it. The script fits the frame's height to the form; without it the frame stays a fixed height. The link alone isn't enough.

  2. Step 2

    Paste it into your website

Open the page where the form should go (e.g. “Book”) and add an HTML code block there. Paste the code and save/publish the page.

WordPress: add a “Custom HTML” block, not a normal text block, or visitors will see the code instead of the form. Wix: “Add Elements” → “Embed Code” → “Embed HTML” → “Enter Code”, then stretch the box to the page's width. Squarespace: a “Code” block. In other builders look for “HTML”, “Embed” or “Code”.

  3. Step 3

    Check it and try it

Open the page as a visitor. The form should have no inner scroll bar and should grow when you open the calendar.

Send one test request: it arrives on Bookings like any other request from your site. Decline it afterwards.

  4. Step 4

    A second language

If your website has pages in two languages, copy the code again with the other “Form language” and paste it on that language's page.

Questions about this step

Where do requests and payments go?

Requests arrive on Bookings and are confirmed as usual. After sending, the guest gets their usual stay page, which opens in a new tab; if you take card payments, they pay from it, not in the form on your website. A short line under the form says requests are handled by Smarthoster-bg, so links to smarthoster-bg.com don't surprise the guest.

Do price and terms changes show up by themselves?

Yes. The form always shows your current prices, fees, free dates and terms — you never need to change the code.

The form doesn't show. What should I check?

That your property site is switched on, that you pasted the whole code into an HTML block (not as plain text), and that your website opens with https://.
