Turn on 2-Step Verification
Google only gives app passwords to accounts with 2-Step Verification. Open Security in your Google Account and turn on “2-Step Verification” if it isn't on yet.

Open App passwords
Open the app passwords page directly (link below) — Google doesn't always show it in the menu. It may ask for your password again.

Create the password
Type a name you'll recognise, e.g. “Smarthoster-bg”, and click “Create”. Google shows a 16-letter password in a yellow box. Copy it — it's shown only once.

Paste it into Smarthoster-bg
Open Settings → “Gmail booking sync”. Enter the Gmail address and paste the app password. Each field saves when you click outside it. The password is stored encrypted and never shown again.

Turn the platforms on and check
On Calendar sync switch Airbnb and/or Booking.com on. Then on Bookings press “Sync now” — Airbnb bookings from the last 30 days get the guest's name, number of guests and price.
Questions about this step
Why an app password and not my normal password?
An app password only opens your mail, and you can revoke it at any time in Google without changing your main password. Your normal password doesn't work for this kind of access.
What do you read from my mailbox?
Only booking emails sent by Airbnb (automated@airbnb.com) and Booking.com (noreply@booking.com) in your Inbox. We read them without marking them as read, and never send anything on your behalf.
I can't see App passwords.
Check that 2-Step Verification is on. The page isn't available for work or school accounts, with Advanced Protection, or if you sign in only with a security key. Then use the calendar links only.
Gmail sync stopped working.
Google revokes app passwords when you change your account password. Create a new one and paste it in Settings. Also check that no filter moves Airbnb's emails out of your Inbox.
