Before you start
- The Airbnb and Booking.com links are already under Property calendars (see the Airbnb and Booking.com guides).
- Step 1
Why three links
Our calendar for Airbnb and Booking.com carries only the bookings and blocked dates you enter in Smarthoster-bg (direct bookings from your personal site, renovation, personal use). It never passes on Airbnb's or Booking.com's own reservations — otherwise blocked dates would bounce back and forth between the two platforms.
So Airbnb and Booking.com are also linked to each other directly.
- Step 2
Copy our link for the property
On Calendar sync, under “Export your calendar to Airbnb / Booking.com”, press “Copy” next to the property's link.

Import it into Airbnb
On Airbnb: Calendar → the listing → “Availability” → “Connect calendars” → “Connect to another website”. Paste our link into the calendar address field, give it a name (e.g. “Smarthoster-bg”) and click “Add calendar”.

Import it into Booking.com
In the extranet: “Rates & Availability” → “Sync calendars” → “Add calendar connection”. In the import step paste our link and give it a name.
- Step 5
Link Airbnb and Booking.com to each other
On Booking.com, the same way, import the Airbnb link — the same one you pasted under Property calendars.
On Airbnb, under “Connect to another website”, import the Booking.com link — also from Property calendars.
The platforms refresh imported calendars every few hours — it isn't instant. For a last-minute booking, block the dates by hand as well.
- Step 6
Check it works
Block a date on Smarthoster-bg's Calendar and a few hours later check it's closed on Airbnb and Booking.com. If two bookings ever overlap, Bookings shows a warning.
Questions about this step
Do I need to import our calendar if I have no direct bookings?
It's optional, but handy: blocking dates on Calendar (renovation, personal use) then closes them on both platforms at once.
I use a channel manager. Do I need these links?
If a channel manager already syncs availability between Airbnb and Booking.com, don't also link the platforms to each other by iCal — both methods together can double-block dates.
