1. Step 1

    The link is created automatically

3 days before check-in every booking gets a personal registration link. You see it on Bookings, in the “Registration link” column. If a cohost email is set in Settings, it's emailed there too.

Need it earlier? Press “Generate now” next to the booking.

  2. Step 2

Send the link to the guest

Press “Copy” and send it the way you usually write to guests: in Airbnb or Booking.com messages, WhatsApp, Viber or email. One link covers the whole group — each guest is added after the previous one.

Example message: “Hello! By law we have to register every guest with ESTI, Bulgaria's tourism register. Please fill in your details on your phone before arrival: [link]. It takes about a minute per person.”

  3. Step 3

    What the guest does

The guest opens the link on their phone — no app, no account. They photograph their ID card, passport or driving licence; the details are read on the phone itself. They check them, correct anything if needed and send. Then they can add the next guest.

Only the checked fields are sent to us, never the photo of the document.

  4. Step 4

    Track who has registered

On Bookings the “Scanned ID” column shows the registered guests, and the link's status changes to “Used” once registration is done.

After registering, the same link opens the property's guest guide (Wi-Fi, check-in, tips) until the day after check-out.

  5. Step 5

    Expired link

A link is valid for 72 hours by default. You can change that under Settings → “Registration links” (1 to 720 hours). If a link has expired, press “Regenerate link” next to the booking.

Questions about this step

Does the guest need to install an app?

No. Everything happens in the phone's browser. It also works on a computer with a camera.

What if the document isn't read correctly?

The guest can type or correct any field by hand before sending.

Can I enter a guest myself?

You can open the booking's link and fill in the details from the document for the guest — for example at check-in.

Do you send the link to the guest automatically?

For Airbnb and Booking.com bookings, no: the platforms don't share the guest's email, so you send the link in their messages. For direct bookings from your site, the guest gets the link on their stay page.
